Billionaire Paul Allen is a patent troll

Paul Allen has officially become a patent troll according to media reports that he is suing major online websites like facebook, google, youtube, apple, ebay and a few others. Allen became a billionaire by teaming up with Bill Gates to start Microsoft. Well maybe he doesn’t feel rich or important enough so now he is targeting these companies after establishing his patent troll company back in the early 1990s.

Allen’s patent troll company called Interval is claiming brilliant patents like searching for information through a browser (wow), enabling adverts while user is doing some other activity (he’s so smart), and letting users know when items of interest appear. If his patents have made such good contributions to technology today why would he want to destroy that with his patents? It is most likely due to money, fame or both.
