The Cereus poker network has been acquired by Blanca games for an unknown amount. Blanca games is based in Antigua and also has a license in Kahnawake. The cereus poker network is the 7th largest poker network according to PokerScout.com.

Perhaps this news will give the program a chance to clean it’s image when it was announced that former founder Russ Hamilton was caught cheating players by having access to a super user account that could see hole cards. According to the Russ Hamilton profile on Wikipedia over $22 million USD was given back to players dating from May 2004 to January 2008. The news has certainly hurt the networks chance to challenge for the largest on the net.
